Mr. Ori Yogev - Founder

Mr. Ori Yogev is the founder and chairman of Whitewater. One of the leading personalities impacting the Israeli economy over the last nineteen years, Ori has held several pivotal positions and is highly regarded for his vision and entrepreneurial outlook. Between the years 2002-2004, he served as Budget Director of Israel's Ministry of Finance where he initiated numerous economic reforms. From 1997-2001 Ori served as President and CEO of Bezeq International, Israel's leading international communications service provider, handling international telephony. While holding this position, he encouraged the entry of Internet services in Israel, turning Bezek International into Israel's leading web service provider and owner of WALLA - the country's primary portal. As one of Israel's foremost finance fixtures, Ori administered the liquidation of Hasneh Insurance Company. He also served as General Manager of Omni Food Brands (the Israeli franchiser of Domino's Pizza and Haagen-Dazs ice cream).

Over the last four years, Mr. Yogev's foresight has led him to open new frontiers in the world's water industry. As founder and President of Yogev Consultants Ltd., he represented Mr. John Gandel and the Australian Gandel Group, leading them into an era of enhanced value by purchasing major holdings in Plastro Irrigation - a world leader in the irrigation industry. Ori is also the founder and chairman of Waterfronts - Israel Water Alliance, an innovative NGO developing a platform for ensuring Israel's position as a world class leader in advanced water solutions.

Mr. Yogev holds an M.A. in Economics from Jerusalem's Hebrew University.

Mr. Ofer Bloch - Chairman

Mr. Ofer Bloch is one of Israel's outstanding business leaders. He recently served as President and CEO of Netafim, a world leader in providing smart water solutions for the agricultural industry. Mr. Bloch has a broad perspective on the global challenges facing water and has addressed the UN's General Assembly on the global water crisis and sanitation conditions.  Previously, Mr. Bloch served as CEO of two of Israel's most influential companies –Tnuva's Milk Conglomerate and satellite broadcaster YES.  A retired Major in the Israel Defence Forces, Mr. Bloch performed his military service in the Armored Corps.  Mr. Bloch holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from the Recanati School of Business. 

Major General (Ret.) Giora Eiland - Advisory Board

Major General (Ret.) Giora Eiland is one of Israel's leading security experts. Israel's National Security Advisor from 2004-2006, Mr. Eiland led the country's National Security Council in preparing policy analyses and recommendations for the Prime Minister on all central security and foreign affairs issues. During his tenure in this position, Mr. Eiland also led the drafting, planning and coordination of the disengagement plan from Gaza. Prior to his appointment as National Security Advisor, Mr. Eiland headed the Planning Branch of the Israel Defence Forces (2001-2003), overseeing all IDF planning activity ranging from organization and budgeting to contingency, preparedness, training and procurement. From 1999-2001, Mr. Eiland headed the IDF Operations branch. Mr. Eiland first began his career in the IDF in 1970. In addition to his IDF training he has studied at Fort Bragg in the United States and holds a B.A. in Economics and an MBA degree in Finance from Bar Ilan University.

Mr. Yossi Daskal - Advisory Board

Mr. Yossi Daskal is one of Israel's leading intelligence professionals. An intelligence officer for the Israel Defense Forces for 25 years, Mr. Daskal has held every possible position - from field operative, commander and instructor to executive manager - commanding over 2,000 people and overseeing a multi-million dollar budget. Mr. Daskal has also served as Israel's Military Attaché to Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia and Slovakia. Mr. Daskal retired from the IDF in 1999, entering the private sector as CEO of Chemitron Technologies until 2003, and then CEO of Bombardier Israel - a position he holds until today. A graduate of numerous military courses and the National Security College, Mr. Daskal holds a B.A. in Mediterranean and Arabic History and an M.A. in Political Science from Haifa University.

Professor Eilon M. Adar - Advisory Board

Professor Eilon Adar is one of Israel's leading researchers in water sources, use and technology. He is the Director of Ben Gurion University's Zuckerberg Institute for Water Research and an Associate Professor of the BIDR-Jacob Blaustein Institute for Desert Research. Professor Adar's main research activities deal with: quantitative assessments of groundwater flow systems; sources of recharge on complex basins with puzzling geology and scarce hydrological information; and modelling of temporal and spatial distribution of contaminants in aquatic systems. Professor Adar is a member of the Water Technologies Advisory Board attached to Israel's Ministry of Industry and Commerce. He is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of Waterfronts - Israel Water Alliance. Professor Adar holds a B.Sc in Geology, Physical Geography, and Climatology, and an M.Sc in Physical Geography and Hydrology from the Hebrew University. He has a Ph.D in Hydrology and Soil Water Engineering from the University of Arizona, Tucson, in the United States.

Mr. Jacobo Sack - Water Quality Advisor

Jacobo Sack is one of Israel's leading environmental water engineers. Head of Water Quality Division at Mekorot, Israel’s national water company from 1996 to 2003, he was responsible for the company's policy for water quality and sewage treatment. Previously, he acted as Department Manager for Water Treatment (1981-1996), responsible for the design, operation and follow-up of water treatment plants. He has also provided professional guidelines for River Water Surveillance at the Nature Reserves Authority. Mr Sack’s international experience includes designing wastewater treatment and reuse projects for Agamit in Spain as well as consulting for water treatment processes and water security for projects in the US, France, Israel, Argentina and Venezuela. He consults for the Mekorot Water Company, the Standards Institute of Israel, the Israeli Water Authority and the Israeli Environmental Protection Ministry. Jacobo gained his MSc in Electromechanical Engineering at Universidad Autonoma de Mexico and his MSc in Environmental Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Mr. Dovev Lewinsohn - Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Dovev Lewinsohn is a business professional with a deep understanding of water resource management coupled with hi-tech and security expertise. He is General Manager of Hydromatic Ltd. (a subsidiary of Plastro Irrigation Systems), an international enterprise that manufactures and markets irrigation equipment. Mr. Lewinsohn also has extensive experience in the security field. As a lieutenant colonel in a prestigious IDF division, he was in charge of an elite unit and played a leading role in the development, integration and management of advanced security tactics.

A former employee of Comverse (1997-1999) - one of Israel's leading hi-tech companies, Mr. Lewinsohn was part of the company's Operations Planning and Control Division. Mr. Lewinsohn holds a B.Sc in Engineering and Industrial Management from Tel Aviv University and an M.A. in National Security and Strategic Studies from Bar Ilan University.
