Maximum Reliability, Minimum False Alarms
Standard water quality measurement sensors cannot always determine the difference between real events and false alarms. The normal variability in distribution system water quality, coupled with the large amount of data, makes it a challenge to successfully detect transient contamination incidents. To enable this, a system needs to be able to intelligently assess information, regarding any event, past or present. Bluebox™ contains algorithms of various degrees of sophistication to detect anomalous conditions, By meticulously determining water quality irregularities and serving as an auxiliary to the decision making process, Bluebox™ minimizes false alarms and increases reliability, allowing for a fast and accurate response to a contamination event.

How Bluebox™ Works:

• Water data from multiple water sensors is synchronized into the Bluebox™ software in order to identify irregularities. The system then validates the data.
• Bluebox™ reads and analyzes any parameter provided by the sensors. This analysis takes into account historical trends, time of year, age of equipment, the periodicity effect and more. Bluebox™ is sophisticated enough to work efficiently even when some parameters are missing.
• Upon completion of data collection, Bluebox™ interprets and aggregates the data into a series of fully analyzed statistical displays, providing the operator with relevant information of irregularities and events.
