How WaterWall™ Works
• Collects and integrates information from multiple sources such as water monitoring devices, physical security systems, SCADA, ERP, CRM, GIS, public health, labs, police, GPS and more.
• Presents information from all connected systems in a unified user friendly interface GIS map view, video, event manager screen and online water parameters graphs.
• Enables users to monitor, control and manage all sensors, systems and personal.
• Connects to all types of communication systems including radio, telephone, SMS, fax, email and others, enabling on-demand and automatically triggered digital communication.
• Intelligently assesses data to provide early warning.
• Predicts contamination spread and analyzes the contamination source.
• Responds dynamically by triggering the relevant systems and the appropriate procedures to take corrective routine and crisis actions.
• Records all events, information, actions and automatically generates reports for debriefings.
WaterWall™ collects and integrates data from multiple sources: security monitoring sensors, SCADA systems, water quality monitoring and other information systems such as ERP systems, consumer complaint surveillance and public health surveillance.
The data is transferred through a set of rules and BlueBox™ Event Detection System (EDS) - a sophisticated computerized system that gathers data from different water quality sensors. Acting as a buffer, BlueBox™ has the unique ability of learning and determining whether irregularities in the water system constitute a real contamination event. By recognizing abnormal behavior through historical trends analysis, and constantly adapting to fresh data, Blue Box™ minimizes the false alarm rates and maximizes the reliability of the alarms.
The Decision Support System (DSS) is activated as soon as abnormal behaviour is recognized. This sophisticated hydraulic simulator module predicts the amount of contamination over time and the spread of contamination on GIS displays.
Based on these data inputs, WaterWall™ automatically generates a set of Water Security Management Procedures. These are displayed to the operator, enabling the most appropriate decisions and actions to be taken in order to minimize contamination damage.
In a contamination event, WaterWall™ automatically alerts the relevant authorities and decision-makers via an email/SMS/pager so that additional support can be rapidly provided. By employing a common language and by aligning procedures, WaterWall™ significantly improves the effectiveness of external emergency agencies such as police, hospitals and rescue services.
Maximum Reliability: Minimum False Alarms
By unifying the different types of monitoring and security devices existing in the water system, WaterWall™ minimizes the frequency of false alarms, a common disadvantage in sporadic system structures. Its intelligent BlueBox™ buffer adapts to historical data, filters information and factors data trends, providing an extremely reliable situational picture.
User-Friendly, Plug- and-Play Solutions
Complex multiple data-systems usually require an operator and controller for each system. With its intelligent user-friendly design and convenient "plug-in-and-play" architecture, WaterWall™, can be used by a single operator, irrespective of the number of different security components integrated into the system.
WaterWall™, BlueBox™ and the Decision Support System (DSS) can be added to any type of existing system, irrespective of its existing technology. It can be purchased as a complete solution or in modular form, as an add-on to any existing type of system.
